In addition to my thesis work, I worked for the GLAST team studying black holes, the gamma-ray signatures they may produce, and whether or not GLAST will be able to identify them. At the same time I developed a pattern recognition algorithm to track electron-positron pairs in the silicon tracker on GLAST in order to reconstruct the initial photon direction. Here is a brief talk I gave about it.
